Safety
Why does
my child have conditioning during their gymnastics class?
Conditioning is an essential part in the sport of gymnastics. It builds
muscles and assists in learning new skills. Muscle strength is important in
injury prevention because it helps our muscles protect the bones we have in our
body.
Can I
watch my child when they are in a gymnastics class?
Yes. Parents may watch from the parents sitting area. Please do not stand
in walkway near the cubbies or lean on the wall in the walkway. Sometimes
parents can be distracting and may need to step out of the parents sitting area
so the child can concentrate on what they are doing. It is unsafe for the child
to try to communicate with their parents while participating in a gymnastics
class. Flash photography is not safe in the gymnastics environment, so we ask
that you turn off the flash before using your camera in the gym. |

Registration & Enrollment
How do I sign up for a class?
To sign up for a class, your child needs to be evaluated by one of our
coaching staff, and then try out in our risk free trial class. There is a charge
of $20 for 45-55 minute classes and a $25 charge for 85 minutes classes. The
great thing is that if you decide on the day of your trial class to sign up, your
evaluation fee will be credited toward your tuition. Please call the front
office at (408) 776-1858 to help you decide which class works best
for you.
How does
CAUSA evaluate interested gymnasts and why, also how do I pick the class?
CAUSA staff evaluates the gymnast by what they know and how well they
understand the skill, even if they can’t perform it. We also look at the child’s
age and try to put them in a class so they will be around girls or boys their
same age and skill level.
